The Wouter Nolet Scholarship Fund is operated by the Wouter Nolet Foundation.
The Policy document enclosed aims to give a clear exposition of the Scholarship Fund. It provides a reference point of strategy of WNSF. The Policy document gives the foundations of the activity of the Fund in a way that is clearly understood by everyone across the team.
The Wouter Nolet Scholarship Fund (WNSF) is operated by the Wouter Nolet Foundation. There are 4 organizations that cooperate together and control the administrative scheme: CapaCare International, The Wouter Nolet Foundation, CapaCare Netherlands and CapaCare Siërra Leone.
The tasks and responsibilities of the chairman, secretary and treasurer are separated. An independent Audit Committee will control income and expenses of the foundation. In an Annual Report the activities of the Fund are described and the Board will be held accountable towards donors concerning spending of resources.
The Board of the Wouter Nolet Scholarship Fund currently consists of 4 persons of whom one will always be a member of the Nolet family:
Father of Wouter. Legal and MBA background. Retired. Former work: consultancy with over 30 year experience in business development, IT logistics and project management.
Doctor, currently enrolled as PhD at the University of Copenhagen, doing research in maternal health in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Doctor in Global Health & Tropical Medicine (AIGT). Medical superintendent Lion Heart Medical Centre, Sierra Leone, 2016 (resident), 2017-2019. Master International Health. Anesthesiologist in training (current), AUMC, The Netherlands.
Sister of Wouter. Legal background. Currently working for The Ministery of Interior and Kingdom Relations. In WNSF responsible for Social Media.
